About me
Emily Cantillon, Ph.D., TVI, is a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, providing direct instruction, consultation, and program leadership to support students with complex visual needs in both public and specialized settings while serving as the School-Age Lead CVI Teacher at Perkins School for the Blind. Her goal is to ensure meaningful educational access for all students, particularly those with Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI). She earned her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, where her research focused on educational access and instructional practices for students with CVI.
