About me
Sarah Kiefer serves as the Deaf Education Coordinator at the Indiana Department of Health’s Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education. She has backgrounds in Deaf Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Technology Leadership, and Administration. Sarah oversees assessment and educational services for children ages 3–21 and has experience teaching across preschool through high school in both in-person and virtual settings. She has served as adjunct faculty and regularly lectures at universities. Actively engaged in state and national initiatives, Sarah is committed to improving outcomes for students who are deaf and hard of hearing through collaboration and professional development.
